I had the good fortune to partner with Sally Overheu at Grey Global on the Hasbro Girls Toys Division. Together with a fantastic, integrated team, we launched the Equestria Girls brand by bringing the characters to life in a music video - we even created a dance - The Pony Stomp. A dance tutorial, karaoke video, and video game helped make the The Pony Stomp a global tween phenomenon. Equestria Girls was the #1 selling Fashion Doll during Christmas 2014 taking the top spot from Barbie and selling over $350 million in toys in the first three months.
Girls could dance as each of the different Equestria Girls characters as they played a variety of popular video games.
The Pony Stomp became a global tween phenomenon as girls everywhere fell in love with the brand.
